Emily and Sam pulled their wedding together in two months after finding out one of their best friends and one of their siblings were in town the same weekend. Two months. I'm amazed at how wonderfully they pulled this day together.
These two have been living and renovating in a beautiful Carlton house for the best part of their nine years together, and I loved seeing all their little touches around the place as they were both getting ready together in the morning (and also hanging out with their cute pups).
I loved hearing all their stories about their travels, such as Emily's engagement ring was designed with a sapphire from their travels to Sri Lanka, that Sam proposed with in Tuscany.
Another touch from their memories of travelling was them organising a six-piece salsa band to not just reminisce from their travels to Cuba, but to really get the party started at their reception at Fitzroy Town Hall. The whole crowd had a giant salsa lesson that really got everyone boogie-ing when the lights went down. I love weddings that are just giant celebrations of life and I'm so excited to share these memories.
