Third time lucky.
Kim and Matt rescheduled their wedding for the third time. It finally fell together for what was the most perfect occasion. They got married at Terindah Estate in the Bellarine Peninsula. Almost a year out from their original date.
They were going to get married on the 28th March 2020, but had to pull the pin 10 days out due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was important not to compromise on what they wanted. They had to practice patience until they could go ahead with the event that they always wanted. Their original photographer was stuck in New Zealand and couldn’t make it over. I stepped in at the last minute for them. Hurdles were already coming their way again as the date kept creeping closer and closer.
Victoria was at risk of closing its border to South Australia at the time. With over half of their guests being from there, they almost didn’t go ahead for the third time. But as you can see - it all worked out! With all the challenges that they faced, they got through it together.
“Don't get too caught up in the small details, you'll not notice them on the day. Worry only about the things within your control.”
